all gate-processing modules: if gateInput val = 0 or 1 (alternating) => gate is open; if gateInput = 10 or 11 (alternating) => gate is closed.
example ADSR: gateInputValue is 0 => sustain mode; gateInputValue is 10 => sustainOff.
example LFO B: gateInputValue is 0 => retrig; gateInputValue is 10 => no effect.
besides 0, 1 resp. 10, 11 there are also some (many) other suitable values, but these seem to work in any case for any gate-receiving module.
